Meet the prerequisites
Reach Rebirth 5 and defeat Toad 10 times. Toad is its own weekly boss (5 runs a week) in Ninja Castle (talk to Palanquin at Mushroom Shrine), and it needs Rebirth 5 plus 10 Pink Bean kills. At 5 runs a week, the 10 Toad kills take at least 2 weeks.
Hunt the four drops
In Lionheart Castle (see How to get to LHC), hunt 200 each: Crocky's Helmet, Reindeer Spear, Castle Golem Brick and Bearwolf's Morning Star.

Reindeer Spears: farm Lion King's Castle, Under the Castle Walls 3 (screenshot: Andrew, in-game)
Bearwolf's Morning Star: farm Lion King's Castle, Under the Castle Walls 5 (screenshot: Andrew, in-game)
Castle Golem Brick: farm Lion King's Castle, Tall Castle Walls 2 (screenshot: Andrew, in-game)
Crocky's Helmet: farm Lion King's Castle, Under the Castle Walls 1 (screenshot: Andrew, in-game)
Get the Key to the Rose Garden
Bring the items to Ifia on Lion King's Castle: Roof of the Fifth Tower and exchange them for a Key to the Rose Garden.
Enter the expedition
Take the portal at the bottom right of the Fifth Tower. It uses up 1 key each time you enter, and you pay the 5,000,000 mesos at this point, after you already have the key (confirmed in-game by Andrew, Oct 11, 2026). You arrive at the Audience Room Corridor (the Von Leon expedition).

Entry and runs

Keys: 1 Key to the Rose Garden per entry. Mesos: 5,000,000 per run.
Rewards: 100 Perfect Pitch per clear (changelog, Aug 1, 2026). Von Leon gear can later be upgraded to Empress gear.

Needs in-game check
