Welcome to Leaflet: what it is, what's covered, how to help

By Leaflet team#announcement#guide

Hi, and welcome to Leaflet.

Leaflet is an unofficial, fan-made guide to the BeyondMS MapleStory server. It's built with permission from the BeyondMS team, but it isn't run by them or by Nexon. If the game and this guide ever disagree, the game is right – and we'd like to hear about it.

What it is

A place to look things up quickly while you play: what a quest needs, where to train next, how to unlock a boss, and who drops what. Every page tries to answer the question in plain words first, then gives the details.

What's covered

  • Questing – every v83 quest, with requirements, items, monsters, a step-by-step checklist and rewards. Enter your level at the top of the Quests page to see what you can start right now.
  • Leveling – the Training finder. Enter your rebirth, level and class to get ranked training spots, with monsters, class tips, access rules and Galaxy Field notes.
  • Bossing – step-by-step boss prequests, from Zakum and Horntail to Toad, Von Leon, Empress and Lotus, plus weekly run limits.
  • Monster Book – monsters with stats, drops and spawn maps, plus items, NPCs and maps.

Regular quests on BeyondMS are the same as v83, so those pages come straight from the game data. Boss prequests and training spots are BeyondMS-specific; those pages are written from the community guides and staff posts on the BeyondMS Discord, and each one cites where it came from.

How to help

  • Spot a mistake? Tell us in game or on Discord, with the page and what you saw.
  • Know a good training spot? The training picks are a simple list. Tell us the map, your rebirth, level and class, and roughly how much EXP per minute you get.
  • Have screenshots? In-game screenshots make the boss and quest pages much easier to follow. Send them with a line about where they were taken.
  • Look for “Needs in-game check”. Those notes mark things we couldn't confirm yet. If you can check one in game, that's the most useful help of all.

Thanks for reading, and happy mapling!
